Phil is the Future Technologies Evangelist at Octopus Energy driving innovation in areas such as time-of-use tariffs, export tariffs, Smart Energy connected products & services and grant funded R&D projects.  Previously Phil ran his own Smart Home company, helped launch a mobile advertising startup in Canada, led the personalisation portfolio of telco products at Redknee and delivered numerous innovation projects at O2 such as pre-pay, mobile internet and other innovative services.  Phil is married with three children whom he frequently tests technology on.
