Christopher Robinson

Senior Analyst, Lux Research

Chris Robinson is a Senior Analyst at Lux, and leads the Future of Mobility program. In this role, his research focuses on the intersection of new technologies and business models impacting the way we move. This includes a focus on advancements in autonomous, electric, and connected vehicle technologies as well as how those technologies are intersecting with new business models like ride-hailing and car-sharing. This focus also extends to new modes of mobility, such as hyperloop and VTOLs. Chris has also contributed to Lux’s Energy Storage team focused on advanced battery technologies and electric vehicles.

Prior to joining Lux, Chris worked at Purdue’s Nanoscale Energy Transport and Conversion Laboratory where his research focused on engineering higher efficiency thermoelectric materials.

He holds a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
